Enforcing a new visual identity
Aligning values with ambition
TotalEnergies is a broad energy company that produces and markets multiple energies across the globe. Founded in 1924 and active in the UK since the 1960s, it’s one of the UK’s leading oil & gas operators.
Each year, the company holds its HSE Awards to recognise the achievements of the people and teams making positive contributions to the health, safety and environmental performance of its sites. Following the company’s rebrand from Total to TotalEnergies, the HSE Awards required a redesign to align with the company’s new style, colour palette and ambition.

Translating a visual identity
We were tasked with creating a visual identity that would be used across a variety of print and digital materials for the awards, including trophies, brochures and emails.
Therefore, we had to ensure that the creative work would translate to the requirements of the event and within the context of celebrating health and safety.
Capturing the spirit of achievement
To create a fresh identity that evoked celebration, we designed a logo that incorporated a star, and a single dot, to represent people. From this visual, we developed an entire brand identity that we rolled out across all event assets.
In using a limited selection of colours from the existing TotalEnergies brand palette, we were able to create a new identity that perfectly captured the spirit of the HSE Awards.
The new branding was rolled out across all assets for the awards. Thanks to everyone’s contributions, the company’s HSE awards now has a brand that aligns with its values and ambitions.
